Even though I was off work today, Ollie and I stayed busy...too busy. We took Grandma to a doctor's appointment and then stopped in Babies R Us to pick up a few essentials. Grandma had a hair appointment at 12:00 at Sableux and I needed to have someone tame my cave woman eyebrows. We were happy to see Jeremy, but there definitely was a cloud hanging over Sableux today. Really missed Sandy when I pulled around the back of the building and her car wasn't there. Sad day.
One happy note about Sableux: Ollie didn't cry when Jeremy held him (photographic evidence below)! And he got to meet up with his favorite Dog the Bounty Hunter fan, Candy. Oh, and he taunted very pregnant Sheri about her future sleepless nights. Okay, maybe that was me taunting Sheri.
After all the Sableux activity Ollie was exhausted and fell asleep on the way home. Grandma and I were planning on enjoying lunch out, but decided against waking the little angel and drove through Empress for carryout. While Grandma and I enjoyed our chicken salad, Ollie went back to sleep in his crib and slept for nearly 2 hours.
When Daddy got home around 4:00, we headed to Grandma's to help in the garden. Grandma warned me that we had veggies coming out of our ears, and she wasn't exaggerating! We have more cucumbers and squash than we can possibly eat and 7 heads of cabbage. This turned out to be a good thing for Grammie and Grandma's neighbors because we gave away a lot of stuff. Ollie had his first green bean and he LOVED it! He is certainly more of a green bean fan than squash, but I'll have to keep working on him.
Once we got everything picked and cleaned Grandma wanted to show Ollie her latest flea market find, a wagon with wood slats. Of course he was thrilled and enjoyed sitting in it chewing on his toys.
Tomorrow I have to work which will probably be relaxing compared to the last 4 days. Off to bed.
