I worked all day Friday while Ollie kicked back with Grandma. Daddy and I managed to arrive to pick up Ollie just in time for dinner; we really have a knack for sniffing out a free meal. After dinner Grandma and Grandpa introduced Ollie to the amazing world of bubbles.
Saturday was catch up day for all of our household chores. Ollie helped me do laundry and clean while Daddy worked on his computer class. Unfortunately, Daddy was less than happy to be trapped inside on such a beautiful day, so Ollie and I stayed out of the basement as much as possible fearing being bit by the big, bad Daddy bear.
Saturday afternoon Grammie and Poppy stopped by with some really great yard sale finds. Ollie's favorite is a friend for Rusty the horse that we named Dusty. He isn't going to win the Triple Crown on the little guy, but he sure is sweet.
Today is when all the "action" took place. This morning we went to a baby shower for Shawnette at Robin and Esther's house. Ollie made friends with a sweet 14-month-old girl named Ashley. Well sweet little Ashley turned out to be quite the cougar and couldn't keep her paws off of my little darling. He really is quite the babe magnet. By the time we got home around 2:00, Ollie was exhausted from hanging with all those women. He took a two hour nap! When he woke up, I slathered on buckets of sunscreen and we headed outside to play in his pool. As I filled it up with water (mostly warm), Betsy was tempted to jump in, but restrained herself with my coaxing or maybe demanding. She did however, snatch a ducky right under our noses. Poor Besty is still adjusting to not being the center of our attention at all times. Life is a bitch afterall.
This wild weekend really wore poor Ollie out. He was sound asleep by 8:05. Meanwhile, Daddy is still on the computer.
you better watch-out ladies..!!!!
