One Fine Day

Today was so much better than yesterday! Once I was able to pry my eyelids open, I was rearing to go and I haven't wiped the smile off my face since.

I got off to a great start by getting help with my technical difficulties and then finishing my training. Once that weight was lifted off my shoulders, I could relax and enjoy the morning. Ollie ate his breakfast and was practically begging for more prunes and yogurt. Thank God he takes his "medicine" with such ease.

After lunch we were off to Wal-mart to stock up on baby stuff and dog food. Ollie grabbed his favorite cat hat, so I had to indulge and let him wear it. Although he fell asleep in the car, his eyes popped open the moment we walked through Wal-mart's front door. He smiled and flirted with every woman that walked past our cart. I'm starting to fear he's going to be a ladies' man when he gets older.

As soon as we got home and unloaded our loot, Grandpa pulled in the driveway. He fed Ollie his afternoon bottle and witnessed the beginning of his daily tooth drama. He hung around for a little bit, but as soon as the crocodile tears started, he suddenly had to go home to let Massey out. Next, Grandma stopped by and was able to calm Ollie enough that he fell asleep. She really does have the magic touch.

Once Daddy got home, he made dinner while I fed Ollie. Tag team is the only way to go when the little one is having tooth issues. After dinner, we went outside to enjoy the weather and before we knew it, it was bath time. Daddy read The Mollie and Ollie Show to Ollie before he ate his bottle and was off to bed.

Tomorrow is cleaning day, so hopefully Ollie will cooperate. If only I could think of a way for him to scrub the toilets.....
